The college is headed by Prof. V. Bhaskara Rao, had secured his M.Sc (Physics) Degree from Andhra University in 1971. He also obtained doctorate (Ph.D) in Space Physics from the same University. He served the department of Physics, Andhra University in various capacities for over three decades. He has guided number of students for their M.Phil and Ph.D and has published number of papers.
