Departments

The Avanthi’s Scientific Technological & Research Academy is unique campus having all facilities and amenities to cater the needs of all the students and staff members, keeping in mind that the clean & green environment makes it an ideal place of learning. A large built up area spacious, airy class rooms, fully equipped labs, workshops, friendly dormitories, good athletic facilities, sports, games, students lounge, ultra hygienic canteens and dining halls, administrative office, faculty rooms and audio visual teaching aids. The departments in the college are well established as per the guidance of academic council recommendations of the college. They are outfitted with all necessities like faculty, infrastructure, laboratories, class rooms under the supervision of the principal and other senior faculty members. The infrastructure, laboratories are the state of art of the campus. All the departments are doing well to up lift the quality and standards to benefit the student community.

Faculty

A Team of dynamic, dedicated, well qualified and experienced academicians of the cadre of Professors, Associate Professors, Assistant Professors & senior faculty with vast Research experience in their respective fields are available in various departments. Apart from that the visiting faculty has been incorporated from various prestigious universities to enrich the student’s knowledge levels in academics. Personal attention to each student is shown. The department encourages sustaining research and development. The Faculty is encouraged in Dissemination of Research based Knowledge through Conferences, FDPs, QDPs etc. Mentors are attached to each class to counsel the students. Personality development classes are regular feature of all the departments. Apart from the regular class work, teaching methodology includes the usage of working models, OHPs, LCD projectors etc. and discussion on case studies, regular assignments, and class tests for imparting the quality education.

Visiting Professors

Eminent faculty members from reputed universities, industry are made available as visiting professors to enrich the knowledge of the students. They are not only involved in guiding the students but also are involved in advisory council. The objective is to strengthen the institution in establishing the research laboratories, making academic relationships between industry, our institutions and other universities. 

Laboratories

These are well established with all the necessity equipment, infrastructure and facilities of state of the art as prescribed the University and AICTE. The laboratories are also having the provision to take up various project and research activities. All the students are encouraged to do mini projects and projects using these facilities. Final year projects of the students are done utilizing these facilities itself. The laboratories are well supported by very experienced and well qualified lab assistants and supporting staff.

Research & Development Laboratory

The Research and Development activity in the campus is supported by the equipment addressing the issues related to the research & design problems. Various research laboratories have been established to inculcate the activity of research in the minds of students and also they are encouraged to publish the papers under the supervision of the faculty members. It is proposed to establish the research laboratories in various disciplines of engineering to help out the students to endure the advanced technological areas in learning by participating. Various research groups have been working on different problems of current demand with the available infrastructure, equipment, tools available in the institution under the esteemed guidance of very learnerd and experience senior faculty like Prof.Dr. V.Buchiah, Principal, Prof.Dr. E.G.Rajan, Prof. Dr. D. Venkateswarlu etc.
