Dr V S Giridhar Akula received the BE, M Tech degrees in Computer Science and Engineering and PhD in Computer Science and Engineering from JNTUA.
He was with Indira Gandhi National center for arts, New Delhi for 2 years where he has been involved in development of multimedia projects. He was with good reputed engineering colleges and discharged duties as HOD for CSE, IT departments, Vice Principal. He is in the engineering teaching field from the past two decades (around). From the past 08 years he is discharging duties in engineering colleges as Principal. He is life member of ISTE and member of IEEE,Tech Republic(USA), Computer Science Teacher’s Association(USA), International Association of Engineers, senior member of IACSIT, Singapore.
He has authored 8 text books for Engineering, MCA and Polytechnic Students of AP, Kerala and Karnataka. He has presented many papers in National and International Conferences. Dr Giridhar has published many papers in National and International Journals. He is a reviewer for 5 national and 3 International Journals. He is the Director for International Association of Journals and Conferences.
He is a recipient of “ Best Project Guide Award” by Kadapa District Collector,“ Life time education Award” by EGSI, New Delhi, “ Leading Educators of the World “ by IBC, England and “ State Best Computer Professor Award” by ISTE.
He is also an active person in social service activities and received Print and Electronic Media appreciations and also by the former President of India Dr A P J Abdul Kalam.
